Ancient Styra & Drakospita

Between Nea Styra and Palaia Styra lies the site of ancient Styra, a settlement believed to date back to antiquity and associated with the wider region referenced in Homer’s Iliad.
Nearby, you can discover the enigmatic Drakospita (“Dragon Houses”), prehistoric megalithic structures built from massive stone slabs without mortar, dating back over 2,500 years. These mysterious buildings are scattered across southern Evia (Euboea) and continue to puzzle archaeologists.
Ancient Styra was also known for its seafaring people, who are thought to have contributed ships to the Greek forces during the Trojan War.
Limnionas Beach

Limnionas Beach is one of the most stunning coastal spots near Nea Styra. Known for its clear turquoise waters, warm pebbles and sandy shore, it’s a perfect place to relax, swim, or enjoy a coffee by the sea. The beach is friendly and easy to reach by car, with a couple of local tavernas and cafés nearby for refreshments.
Armirichi Beach
